Lomond turns 100

The small village of Lomond has big plans this year to celebrate turning 100.

The community is throwing its birthday bash from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19.

Many events are planned, including a parade, beach volleyball and softball tournaments, Texas Hold’em tournament and dance, kids’ rides and carnival, school tours, and show and shine.
