Come and treat your senses to a weekend of funky and fantastic music, art and crafts in Longview. Bring the family out for a fun weekend in the park listening to some great live music on Aug. 16 – 17.

This will be the 7th annual festival which originated through Eva Levesque and her crew. The idea arose while sitting around the kitchen table drinking coffee one afternoon and has grown into this amazing festival fondly called “Longstock” by its organizers. Eva diligently searches out fantastic Alberta talent for the music-fest and crafters and Rick Smith does the same with our talented Alberta artists.

There will be a Beer tent and the usual hamburger and hotdog munchies, t-shirt sales and featured artists CD’s for sale. The cost of the festival is what you make it — it’s a donation.

“We want people to feel comfortable with what they pay — it’s whatever you think you can afford,” Levesque said. “It doesn’t matter if it’s $500 or $5, they are more than welcome.”

For more information call Levesque at 403-558-3967.
