Claresholm offers a lot of summer attractions

CLP-Town activitiesIf you want to enjoy some summer time in the sun, or just get active, Claresholm is the place for you.
Centennial Park, located west of Highway 2 and north of Highway 520, has a campground featuring sites with water, power, and many with sewer hook-ups; a camp kitchen with a large double sink, a clean well-maintained bath house with washrooms and showers; wireless Internet access; and ball diamonds and a playground. There is also a spray park nearby. Amundsen Park is full of grass, trees and picnic tables, to relax outside. Ringrose Park is nestled between two buildings, featuring a four-panel mural, pergolas, a walkway, and benches to have your lunch outside and watch the world go by. Claresholm has a skate park, located in the arena parking lot, featuring several ramps, ideal for skate boards and inline skates.

The Millennium Ball Diamonds on the northwestern edge of town offer four fields for everything from a game of catch, to softball and hardball games and tournaments. Claresholm also has an indoor swimming pool. No matter what the weather is like, it’s always perfect for a dip in the pool.
