Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Outdoor Recreation presents the fourth annual Bragg Creek Film Festival Sept. 12.

“It will be the usual collection of outdoor adventure films and stories,” said Shaun Peter, one of the founders of the Bragg Creek Film Festival. “Anything from ski films, to climbing films to just a great adventure in another country.”

It’s a natural fit. Proceeds from the festival will go towards the Moose Mountain Bike Trail Society and the Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association.

Peter, a Bragg Creek area resident and outdoor recreation enthusiast, created the Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Outdoor Recreation (BCKOR) website to educate the public about Bragg Creek and area trails, outdoor recreation organizations and events.

BCKOR profiles the local trails people can bike, hike, run, ski and climb. It also provides links to local outdoor recreation groups and information about all the outdoor recreation events in Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Country.

This year’s festival will be Sept. 12 at the Bragg Creek Community Centre.
